Club Day 15th November.

On the 15th November, 2008 Golf and Yacht Club "Pestovo" arranged the Club Day dedicated to the culture of Great Britain and James Bond movie. During the day office golf tournament, billiard and poker tournaments were held.

Club Day 15th November.

During the winter season we offer to our Members fantastic opportunity to visit the Club Day.The Club Day is organized every month, it will combine playing office golf with competition in billiard and poker. Every time we will choose special theme for this ocassion with an aim not only to join together mature golfers and beginners and to amuse them, but also to create traditions of the Club, the unique athmosphere of "Pestovo".What`s more, the Club Day is a good opportunity to practice golf during the winter season. On the 15th November we`re started this tradition.
Office golf tournament was one of the highlights of the Club Day.On this day the magnificent clubhouse turned out to become an arena for golf competition, most sofisticated holes were placed in the conference-room of the 2nd floor and in the Men`s lockers.Golf architecture was performed by the Members of the Club Alexey Sidorov and Armen Movsesyan, the design and the quality of the course deserved everybody`s praise.The first place was taken by the beginner golfer Igor Ivanov, Andrey Butrimov and Armen Movsesyan followed him. The ladies winners were Anna and Angela Movsesyan, proceeded by Irina Lavrentieva. Most stylish golfer- Andrey Butrimov, for ladies- Lyudmila Kadirova.
 For the youngsters we arranged the special program- traditional English cricket, quizez and fancy dress defile. |

 We also didn`t put aside traditional English "five o`clock tea". During the ceremony it revealed that golfers are also gifted in vocal singing and knowing of English traditions.The title of the best expert on English traditions was gained by Daria Bleiz. |

 During the dinner the golfers could choose the table with a name of the English country and take part in the contest on the English history. The leader was Ivan Lavrentiev from Essex. |

  The Club Day was finished by the perfomance of the famouse James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies".The next Club Day will be on the 14th December, it will be called "Russian Day".
